This week we were pleased to support the LIA (Lighting Industry Association) at the LIA Annual Luncheon and Seminar Event. Held in the beautiful surroundings of The Drapers Hall in central London, this was a great opportunity to catch up with our peers in the industry.
Prior to the LIA Annual Luncheon, we enjoyed a seminar given by Tony Howells, Senior Policy Advisor at the Department of Business Innovation and Skills where he updated us on the government’s Lighting Sector Plan Strategy.
This was followed by a seminar on Promoting UK Lighting Business given by Gordon Routledge of Revo Media.
In these times of near constant change and development in our industry, and with the effects of the recession still not fully behind us, these seminars were a timely reminder of what we need to do to compete, and thrive, at the highest levels.
The LIA is an important organisation, and one which we are pleased to be involved with, and to give our wholehearted support to. This week’s event was a great opportunity to catch up with many of you. If we didn’t see you this time, we look forward to seeing you at the next event.
